Why does Social provide a more productive atmosphere for employees to work than email?

In the era of digitalization with digital native workers it is crucially important to provide an atmosphere for them to feel comfortable and start to be who they are. Email is not an appropriate medium for a 25 year old tech guy to communicate with another person his age in another part of the world. They have too many differences such as language, culture and even time and these all can result in miscommunication or even communication that never happens. Workers recently prefer companies with more available technology and digital tools,  according to adobe. By doing so you allow your people to contribute more in a real time feedback loop and they get the attention of their partners and customers which leads to being more productive.
